In Thomson Greek Style

I will be running a workshop on the 29th July as part of the Merchant City Festival on how to stencil “Greek Thomson Style” ! For details and bookings check Here

The Victorians were definitively interested in style ! After all they had to compensate for a recently gained status and a complete lack of looking my term in education in good style !

Alexander Greek Thomson, architect in Glasgow was himself into anything “Greek” from the architecture of his buildings to the shape of his stencils !

Below are some examples of his work in Holmwood House in Glasgow.

Many of you will have similar designs on in your house or tennement flat and would love to know how to go about recreating them …

I will run this one day workshop giving you clues on how to proceed ! If you have any questions about it email me @ bettysbeautifullife@gmail.com

See you there I hope.
