Making Intuitive Shibori prints, Masterclass day workshop in Indigo in Glasgow

Indigo dye is one of the most rewarding process in the world of colour and it is my pleasure to introduce to you a day Shibori Masterclass in Glasgow this Autumn part of the “Shades of Blue” Festival.

Curated by Thai Masterdyer Mann Craft and textile Artist Elisabeth Viguie Culshaw it will allow you to spend the day creating some printed material using folded Shibori and some beautiful Natural vats.

As well as learning to dye your prints, we will prepare the material, learn to rinse and neutralise the prints to give you colour fast long term beautiful creativities.

After experimenting with 3 folds you will be given a pure cotton pillow case to upcycle.

There will be a chance to visit “Shades of Blue” the exhibition in the museum.

If you would like to also learn to make the vats please take a note at the description of the full Masterclass
