About the Indigo diaries – 2026

New blog Journal in 2026 – The Indigo diaries

2026 comes as a special year for me. After several years of research in growing Japanese Indigo (Persicaria Tinctoria) and Woad (Isatis Tinctoria) at The Indigo plot in Scotland and in Vat making and maintaining I have decided to open some of my experiments and their results in a regular blog. Under the tab “The Indigo diaries” I will be posting two posts a month detailing my activities and giving some recipes.

After consideration I have decided not to offer an online group about growing Japanese Indigo, Compared with the previous year the original response was very low and I think help is available in many places. Offering an online group is creating a large workload for me and without the support of many I can not justify the time I would spend on this. Instead I will blog about it and if you follow this blog (see the subscribe button you will be able to find the posts informatives.
